I guess I'm on a bit of a Lancia kick over the last few posts, but what drew me to this car was the rarity and the color. It is, after all, Easter and what more fitting way to celebrate than with an egg-colored Fulvia? Outside of the compelling color, there's quite a lot to like here; it's a HF 1.6 Fulvia that looks correct and is restored. What's not to like? Well, it's not in the U.S....yet:

This is a very rare Lancia Fulvia HF 1.6 2nd seria. Car was completely restored from frame up , including the Drive train (motor and trans ) body and interior. If you were serious about this car, it's worth a call to figure out what the story is. Granted, the photos aren't stellar, but the price is right at the bottom of the market for HF 1.6s - $55,000 is downright affordable for a real deal HF. So what is the deal? Why is this car priced $30,000 below where it could be? A few careful calls and inspections could reveal the truth, or a stunning deal on a very neat classic Lanica!

1971 Lancia Fulvia Sport Zagato 1.6

The Lancia Fulvia Sport Zagato could almost be considered the forerunner to the modern hot hatchback. While the standard Fulvia was an exercise in proper proportions and elegance, the Zagato variant has a bit of a butch, bulldog stance about it. This car for sale in Washington State is not a concours example, but is a good runner for someone seeking high Italian style at a reduced price.

1972 Lancia Fulvia Zagato 1.6

Selling this 1971 Lancia Fulvia Sport (Zagato body) for a client. His reserve is much less than his investment. He simply has too many cars. Car is fitted with a 1.6 liter Fulvia V4 engine and is a second series car so it has a factory 5 speed gearbox. Fitted with Weber manifold and 40DCOE carb. Engine has less than 3,000 miles on rebuild. New clutch pressure plate and release bearing. New Exhaust in last 200 miles. Front seats freshly upholstered to a very high standard. Excellent life left on tires. Car runs and drives very well pulls strong. Unusual vintage wheels. Incredible dash in excellent shape. No rust in floors very solid car that came from California, was sold to my client by Fantasy Junction a couple of years ago.

Clear Washington State title. No signs that the car was ever wrecked. No spare tire. No bumpers (that is the way he got it). Odometer shows 80,916 KM I believe that can not be far from accurate but I have no way of verifying that. Paint passes the 20 ft test, shiny but not concours.

This Zagato Sport has some issues that need to be sorted but it's mostly complete. This would be a good car for someone seeking a good runner or an easy restoration project. The best Zagato Sports fetch between $35,000 to $40,000, so this car might realistically bring $20,000 to $25,000.

1987 Lancia Delta 1.6 HF Turbo

With the hot versions of Lancia’s Delta now approaching the 25 year mark, this World Rally Champion is perhaps one of the most tempting Italian forbidden fruits to import to the US. While most are familiar with the four-wheel drive versions, Lancia produced a Delta HF with a smaller 1.6 liter turbocharged engine and front-wheel drive, as we see with this example for sale near Potenza, Italy. These lesser Deltas can be distinguished mainly via their lack of 4WD badging on the rear decklid and lack of air intakes on the hood.

1987 Lancia Delta HF 1.6 Turbo

Rare Lancia Delta HF Turbo 1.6, 1987, dark gray metallic, all original and never modified or messed up. uniproprietario to date, paid as an additional sheet of 19,600,000 lire, 122,000 km, original keys, double keys, book vouchers and canceled the original additional sheet certifies that the car is uniproprietario. Alloy wheels, electric windows, and the rare alcantara Recaro interior. Excellent mechanically, timing belt recently replaced, the rear seats as new, no one ever stood up. Prices are soaring on these cars.

At about $6,300 USD with around 75,000 miles on the clock, this is a rather inexpensive way to get behind the wheel of one of these rally icons. Everything on this example appears to be in good order, from the straight body panels to the unmarred interior. Granted, you don’t get the thrill of all-wheel drive, but the lack of the extra drive axles may provide some reprieve from maintenance down the line.
