We had the big coupe out last evening, driving up and down Telegraph in Detroit in search of American iron to pick on. Our Maserati Coupe GT seats four pretty comfortably, and doesn't have much trouble getting out of its own way, much less keeping up with American muscle. We like to think of the Coupe GT as a newer take on the Fiat 130 format - large, comfortable, quick, and sleek.
Former Fiat chairman Giovanni Agnelli had a 130 in his collection, though his was converted to a shooting brake for added style and convenience. Today, a Fiat Chairperson might be seen in a Maserati Levante Trofeo, or a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8, or if we're very lucky, a Maserati Quattroporte GTS. The crisp lines of the 130 Coupé are the essence of style, and make an appearance on the Ferrari 400i as well as on the Bitter SC. But, low-slung coupes are no longer the norm among the business elite in the day and age of the luxury crossover.

Here is my pride and joy 1972 Fiat 130 Coupe, quite possibly the most original condition car in the entire USA, if not anywhere.
I purchased this from a seller in Miami in 2015 and have driven it local off and on for the past 5 years, travelling maybe 2000 miles In that time it was never once in the rain. Its as original as you can possibly find.
All original tool kit, owners handbook and factory AutoVox 8 Track stereo, with Abba "The Album" time dated 8 track cassette included in the glove box
Both front and rear screens are the original "Made In West Germany" glass and in excellent condition.
Interior is superb, no tears and very little if zero fading. The rear parcel shelf is in excellent shape too with no cracking!
Mecahnicaly, it's perfect too, I have had almost no problems ever, other than new spark plugs and new starter, the car has performed flawlessy for me the past 5 years
Body and paint work is amazing for 50 years old, with ZERO rust anywhere, headlights and rear lights excellent shape.
All in all, this superb example of a Fiat 130 Coupe wil only increase in value over time, We estimate there are maybe 5 of these in the entire USA and probably less than 100 in the entire world!
Registered and insured in the state of Florida and currently on Historic Plates, so you will have zero problems registering the vehicle, fuel is E85
Please note, mileage provided to eBay is 64,000, however the actual mileage is 104,000 KM.

Trim and 130-specific components are where this car will get you. The seller's claim that it is in original condition is a great starting point, though why not back it up with some photos to support that claim? This listing is pretty light on mechanical information, not to mention the fact that the seller didn't even include a front shot of the vehicle. Since these are so rare on North American shores, we wouldn't be too discouraged as potential buyers - it's just a matter of getting in touch with the seller and getting some real information out of them.
This is a rare opportunity to drive a Fiat V6 without getting into a Dino. While the Fiat matches the Dino on power, the extra 400lb or so that the Fiat lugs around won't do it any favors in the curves. For those who don't need the Dino's more exotic 65 degree V6 and who might prefer the cleaner 1970s styling of the 130 Coupé, there awaits a healthy discount. We'd go with the cheaper of the two in this case ourselves.
