The Titanic ship wreck lies 2.5 miles below the sea some 370 miles off the coast of Newfoundland. Even with modern ship recovery equipment, it strikes us as highly improbable that any party would find the financial justification to recover that rusty hunk of iron from the ocean floor.
Some of us are ok with the ship's current location; for those who yearn to see it restored and on display, might we suggest this 1967 Fiat Dino? The body appears presentable at first glance, but once your eyes make their way along the rockers and the base of the windshield, the extensive rust lurking beneath the panels becomes apparent. It will take an optimist to make a financial case for this Dino Coupe.

The 1967 Fiat Dino featured here with matching numbers is available in Rosso Corsa with a black interior. It comes equipped with a manual transmission, power windows, 4-wheel disc brakes, and Cromodora wheels. A highly collectible beautiful color combination Italian sports car which has a free turning motor.
Rusty and not running, this is probably a restoration candidate. The engine turns over according to the seller, but could still require a rebuild. Fortunately for those looking to restore this example, the interior is all present and seems to be in great shape. If the interior is original, we would just sit it on the shelf and tackle the rust repairs and engine work. Those tasks will cost enough as it sits.
For the asking price, if this thing is a tune-up away from running and driving and it stays in California, maybe it's worth running as-is. The rust shouldn't progress too quickly in a dry climate, and if it isn't too structural, then it won't affect driving. Unfortunately, this Dino Coupe is more likely slated for a very involved restoration.
